Time to Come Home

All of us slept a little later Monday morning than on the other days.  Ron and I spent time finishing up our packing.  I had stayed up very late doing most of mine.  Vickey again fixed a great breakfast and about 10:30 we loaded all of our luggage into the car and headed to Bob's office.

When we got there the man he needed to see first was in a meeting so we drove around for a bit and went to lunch at Fuddrucker's and had great burgers and fries before returning to Bob's office.  We were able to see his office which really reflects his personality.  Then we went to see one of the work areas and met several of his co-workers. 

From there we went to the airport.  Vickey and I looked around some of the shops before Ron and I checked our baggage.  Then we all visited before we went through security.  It went smoothly and quickly - easier than in Harlingen. 

The flights home - one to Houston, then a 2 hour layover, and finally on to Harlingen.  We arrived about 10:30 and although tired, we were very happy about how well the entire trip had gone.  Everything was perfect and our visiting time with Bob and Vickey could not have been better.  What a great vacation.  It had been too long since we had been able to take a trip to relax.
