Sweet Sunday with Family
January 11, 2015

A picture drawn by our grandson when he decided to
take a break from working the puzzle Saturday night.

Our oldest grandson was to set up the Sunday School rooms at the church this morning, so Ron took him about 7:00 to take care of that responsibility.  He continues to follow in his dad's footsteps.  For many years, Jeff worked that as a second job and now his son is a fill-in for the person who does it.  During the years Jeff did it, the two older boys would go with their dad as he did the set-up as well as unlocking the building for the services and locking things up afterwards.  Today we visited after church as our grandson locked up the facility.

We decided to go to Cobbleheads for lunch and had a group of tables right by the resaca.  I love watching the water and the birds.  The day was clearing and warming slightly.  Some of the kids played out on the deck while we waited for our food.  The food was very good and the family was a delight.  Four of the older kids went home after lunch and Jeff and Barb and the younger ones came to our house to get the things the kids had not yet packed.  The stayed and visited until 4:00.

While at the house, Barbara painted the finger nails of the youngest.  She had done them weeks ago and much of the polish was still there, but not all of it and the little one wanted it "fixed".
She does love to look pretty!
After they left, I sat down to read, soon fell asleep, and slept until 8:00 this evening.  Then I got up and did a few small chores before relaxing a little more with my  book.  About 10:00 I ate some supper to go with the pills I needed to take before going to the dentist in the morning.

Our son called from New Mexico and we chatted for a while.  Our daughter-in-law Vickey has been sick for a few days.  They are trying to get their car repaired and are having trouble with getting the car dealer to fulfill the warranty in a timely manner.

After eating and taking pills, I sat at the table and worked on the puzzle for longer than I had intended.  It can be addictive!
