Battle of the Bronchitis
November 5, 2015

Just a little of the fabric I bought in Houston.
This year I got a lot of bright colors.

The bronchitis is much better, but not completely over.  The fever is gone.  My throat is not sore, but I still don't have a voice.  My cough is still hanging around but not as bad as before.  Main problem (and maybe it isn't a problem) while I am on the steroids (just 2 more days), I sleep very little.  That really helps me catch up on reading if nothing else.
I always like the fun prints.

This morning I was up at 6:00 and went to the office at 9:00.  We had planned for me to go to the airport to pick up Ron's Aunt Viva who is visiting Ron's mom for a week, but we decided I should not be around them yet.  I have not seen my mom all week and Ron and I both want to keep our mom's away from me (or me away from them) for a couple more days.  Neither of them need a respiratory infection.  So I went to the office leaving Ron free to pick up his aunt.  They are so fond of each other, I know she was delighted to see him.
I have been looking for a Yellow Submarine print for years.
Lots of great bird fabrics available this year.

Then about 1:00 I came home and spent the rest of the day doing just a few things and reading mostly.  It was a quiet afternoon.  Ron went to his mom's after work for a couple of hours.
Polka dots, stripes, plaids, whatever you want.

Without my sound processor off, I have no idea if I can be heard by others.  With it on, I can hear myself, but can't really tell how loud I am and the voice is so strange - a few high pitches and some low ones, but all raspy.
Hamburgers, French fries, fruits, vegetables,
you name it, they have it.

Went to sleep around 10:00 I think and woke at 2:00 a.m. Friday - still awake at 5:30 a.m.  Have sorted things on the sewing table.  Sewed for a while.  Started dishwasher.  Now at almost time to get up, I am getting a little sleepy.  Oh, me.

  1. Love all your new fabric....all of it looks so yummy! If you don't have room to store all of it, I have a few empty spaces!

    1. Thanks for the offer, Tiny, but last I heard, you were hard up for space. I don need to decide where to put it. It would be best to put it into some quilts!
